Massive shout out the the guy at the reception. He was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Overall, I was happy with my stay at bunk hostel. The rooftop swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi was a huge bonus! It's got a huge kitchen, and lots of seating areas in and outside which is lovely. The location is perfect, very central and close to everything including the beach. In terms of the room, the actual beds were comfy and extremley private, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the air con was a bit dodgy and there was no lock on the bathroom, which was a bit of an issue as a female in a mixed dorm.

Great stay! Bang for your buck, honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Super clean, even though there aren’t curtains for privacy in the beds I still felt that I had my privacy. Pretty quiet place, and great location. Right in the centre of surfer’s paradise. Highly recommend

I had a great stay at BUNK Surfers Paradise in the Gold Coast! I stayed for three nights and everything was fantastic. The rooms are exceptional — very spacious, clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. I also really appreciated the privacy in the rooms, which makes the stay much more relaxing. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to everything you might need like shops, restaurants, and public transport. The staff are young, friendly, and always very helpful, which creates a great atmosphere in the hostel. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the Gold Coast and I would happily stay here again!

Great experience at bunk! The events planner Rex led amazing events and I had a blast. For the actual accommodation I was more than pleased with the rooms. I had lots of storage and I loved having the bathrooms attached to the rooms rather then communal. Good kitchen aswell. 10/10 reccomend.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about my stay at Bank Hostel in Surfers Paradise, but the biggest reason this place stands out is because of Jen and Nikou at reception. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness, professionalism, and positive energy completely changed our experience. No matter how busy they were, they always had a smile on their faces, took the time to help, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. What impressed me most was how much they genuinely cared about the guests. Whether it was helping us with local recommendations, making sure we were comfortable, answering every question we had, or simply taking the time for a friendly chat, Jen and Nikou created an atmosphere that felt more like being welcomed by friends than checking into a hostel. The level of comfort and convenience they provided made our stay so much better. They were always willing to help with anything we needed and consistently exceeded our expectations. Employees like them are incredibly rare and are exactly the reason people return to places like this. A hostel can have a great location and nice facilities, but it’s the people who make the experience unforgettable. Jen and Nikou are absolute stars and deserve huge recognition for the outstanding job they do every day. They are a massive asset to Bank Hostel and one of the main reasons our stay was so memorable. If you’re staying in Surfers Paradise, do yourself a favor and book Bank Hostel. And if you’re lucky enough to meet Jen and Nikou, you’ll immediately understand why this place deserves every single one of its five stars. This hostel is very modern and clean. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm. It was very unsocial. The hostel is definitely not good if you’re solo travelling and looking to meet people, however they did have a pub/bar next door so you’d probably be fine there. The rooms have an interesting layout but it definitely feels more private than a typical dorm. No curtains but plug sockets next to bed and good sized storage lockers. There was an en-suite which was cleaned daily. The kitchen was pretty clean and there was loads of space to store food. There was also a swimming pool but we didn’t use it. There are lots of people staying here long term and I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but the hostel itself and facilities are 10/10.

I had a great experience staying at Bunk Hostel. The atmosphere is really good, everything is clean and well organized, and the facilities are excellent. It’s a perfect place to meet people and enjoy your time in the city. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help, which makes a big difference. I especially want to highlight Cristian for his amazing service. He was very attentive, professional, and helped me a lot with everything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend Bunk Hostel for anyone looking for a great place to stay. I would definitely come back!

Bunk is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at! I kept extending it was that good! ☺️ The staff is nothing but amazing, so friendly and helpful. I stayed in a deluxe room and it was stunning. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel! The kitchen was huge and clean. I'm surprised how many hours a day staff attends there to keep it clean for everybody. Spacious laundry on 3 floors. The bar downstairs offers 25% off on food and drinks and the food is so good, especially the pizza! Rooftop was great as well, I believe it's open from Thursday to Sundays. They have events on 5 nights a week and the ones I attended were great to meet new people. I met such cool people that made my stay unforgettable! They can also book activities for you at the front desk. I booked the Skypoint and the view was gorgeous Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a great stay at Bunk Surfers Paradise. The location is awesome, right in the middle of everything, so it’s easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shops. Big shout out to Nikou, who was super friendly and helpful the whole time. She made everything really easy and was always happy to help with anything. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re after a fun place in a really central spot with great staff. I’d happily stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at BUNK Surfers Paradise! The hostel has a great vibe – clean, modern, and perfectly located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. A special shoutout to the reception team, especially Jen the German and Nikou. They were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Whether it was giving tips for things to do, answering questions, or just having a quick chat, they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. You can really tell they care about the guests and go the extra mile to create a great experience. Would definitely stay here again highly recommended!
